Pineapple fish and brush miles
Share
Hello and welcome to the June news. I have set you a little challenge if you dare to turn up and play! But first I'll just give a brief update as it has been a busy month with 40 pieces of my work taking part in the Sunshine Coast Regional Open Studios event. We had lots of people visit the show each day, and now I am continuing as a feature artist with a selection of my work at the Talented Friends Gallery 4/8 Ormuz Avenue, Caloundra QLD, Australia. This feature is part of my Brush Miles show. Brush miles represents the hours behind a paint brush to create work of any standard. As you can imagine, plenty of brush miles have gone into producing 40 art works ready for an exhibition.
I also currently have work at the Cooroy Butter Factory Arts Centre, 11 Maple Street Cooroy latest show. A few years ago I created an ink and watercolour study on paper for a larger painting. When you turn up to play, inspiration strikes, and that day pineapple fish was struck. You can see this artwork, along with 100's of other artworks currently on show at the arts centre.
Finally I just want to encourage you to turn up to life and say "yes" to opportunities that seem just a little out of reach.
Now for some fun!
Are you ready to turn up the heat and dive into the world of art? It's time to push your boundaries, take risks, and unleash your creativity. Today, we're talking about creating a Pineapple fish drawing and embracing the journey of saying yes to the brush miles in art. Get ready to challenge yourself and see where your artistic skills can take you!
What is a Pineapple Fish Drawing?
A Pineapple fish drawing is a unique and vibrant piece of art that combines the beauty of a pineapple with the whimsical nature of a fish. It's a creative challenge that allows you to experiment with colours, shapes, and textures. Are you up for the challenge of bringing this imaginative creature to life on paper?
Embrace the Unknown
Creating a Pineapple fish drawing is not just about putting pencil to paper. It's a metaphor for embracing the unknown, taking risks, and letting your imagination run wild. Don't be afraid to make mistakes or try new techniques. The journey of art is all about exploration and growth. So, grab your brushes and dive in!
Say Yes to Brush Miles
Just like any skill, art requires practice. Say yes to doing the brush miles – putting in the time and effort to hone your craft. Every stroke of the brush, every blend of colour, and every mistake made is a step towards improvement. Embrace the process, learn from your experiences, and watch your skills evolve with each painting.
Challenge Yourself
Don't be afraid to challenge yourself with your art. Push the boundaries of your creativity, experiment with different styles, and take risks. The Pineapple fish drawing is just the beginning – who knows what other masterpieces you can create if you dare to step out of your comfort zone?
Say yes to the challenge, embrace the unknown, and let your artistic spirit soar. The brush miles await – are you ready to take the first step?
If I had not taken my own advice, most of my artworks would not exist. You owe it to your artworks of the future to turn up and play.
Happy creating JR.
